Implemented and oversaw production assembly department. Coordinated all plastic injection tooling builds and repairs.

Designed and fabricated fixtures, wrote programs, and set tool for secondary machining operations of Aluminium, magnesium, and zinc castings. Oversaw 10 operators over two shifts.

 Designed, fabricated, and repaired bronze injection dies and die components. Worked on 75% medium complexity dies and 25% highly complex dies.  Took on additional responsibilities such as managing the tool room inventory, ordering steel, ordering die components, and shipping steel for thermal hardening. As a result, the combined effort of my supervisor and myself produced a total of 27 dies in 2006, which was an 8% increase in production from two years before. Inspected damaged and worn dies. Determined whether the die should be decommissioned or repaired, and performed the repairs. Researched and worked with suppliers to provide quality components and tooling. Aided in design of blueprints and organization of processes to ensure a successful die.
