Beckwith Electric manufactures protective relays and controls used in the Electric Grid.As a Design Engineer, I implement proposed changes to existing products following the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. I create, revise and follow through all the stages of an ECO. The job requires coordinating changes with senior engineers, the Materials department, the planners and buyers, and as well as the writing department to keep the product change on track.I have more than 4 years of experience using Solidworks (3D CAD) and AutoCAD and I have increased the overall performance of our 3D assemblies and I improved production-built time for new and existing products assembled on the production floor.Additionally, I coordinate and conduct meetings with the Engineering team to employ CAD best practices and I perform training to new employees.

The Orientation Leader (OL) in the University of South Florida (USF) is responsible to guide and provide a seamless transition for the new incoming Transfer and International Students. These students participate in a compulsory Orientation Session that occurs throughout the year before the beginning of their classes.Our team, composed of 22 other OLs, served as a source to campus involvement activities to over 4,000 incoming students. Each OL leading individual teams of 15-20 students per sessions, totaling 15 sessions over the academic year.Job duties and responsibilities included, but it was not limited to, conducting Campus Tour, interacting with faculty members, advise students on where to find information about Housing and Dining, class registration, immunization holds, and how to pay for classes.
