Senior Packaging Director. (March 2011 - Apr 2013 ): Responsible for managing Beer & Soft Drinks unique packaging plant facility in Panamá for the group. Seven production lines running 24X7 schedule & over 3 million hectoliters output per year. Managing a team of over 300 employees & 100 contractors. Responsible for a yearly Budget of over $1 MM in capital investment and $15 MM in fixed costs. Manage an integral set of key process indicators to ensure plant’s performance such as safety & environmental, losses, efficiencies, quality, costs, best practice implementation & people development.Manufacturing Development Director (Oct 2009- March 2011: Responsible for the implementation of World Class Manufacturing Practices in both of the Panama site facilities (Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5s’s, SPC, 6 sigma, etc) and overall Safety, Health and Environmental execution. Develop Cultural Transformation plans & manage overall Learning & Development Strategies for the organization. Also manage and consolidate overall Key Process Indicators Balance Scorecard and responsible for Budget creation & allocation for the entire Manufacturing Vice-presidency (Capital Expenses & Operational Expenses). Dairy & Juices Plant Director (Oct 2007-Oct 2009): Responsible for SABMiller’s only Dairy & Juices Plant that supplies entire Panamanian market on these products (over 500.000 hectoliters per year). Manage overall plant indicators & systems (Safety, Environmental, Quality, Costs, People, Delivery, Supply, etc). Plan & administer business around milk procurement & transport logistics to the plant. Responsible for a team of over 300 people, including outsource groups. Responsible for capital investment projects & 5 Year Master Plan. Reporting directly to SABMiller’s Manufacturing Vice-President
