With over six years of experience in modeling, data science and economics, I am a quantitative analyst at AICEP Portugal Global, the Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency. My main tasks include market intelligence, data collection, database operations, and analysis of patterns. I also automate business processes and develop reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.I hold a master's degree in applied econometrics and forecasting and am pursuing a PhD in economics at Lisbon University. My research interests include causal inference, forecasting, international trade, and trading. I have published three papers in peer-reviewed journals and won the best paper and presentation award at Brazil's Economics Students National Conference. I am proficient in some programming tools like R, Stata, and LaTeX. I am passionate about modeling real-life data, finding insights from data and solving complex problems with analytical and creative thinking.
