Lumosa has 2 main business units: Exterior Lighting for sports fields, and Energy transition.As a Software Engineer in a small R&D group I am normally involved in a wide range of software products such as bare metal embedded, embedded Linux, production line tooling, backend / fronted and REST / Graphql API development.This gives me a wide perspective on different levels of software development.Main Achievements:▪ Design the high level software architecture, and the operation algorithm for an Energy Load Balancer compatible with the OCPP standard. (NodeJS Typescript).▪ Introduction of remote observability / logging of EV Chargers using Grafana;▪ Architecture and development of C++ bare metal firmware for AC EV Charger with STM32. Introduced unit / integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.▪ Development of AC EV Charger EOL Tester (Hardware, Software and Test Cases).▪ Development of C++ bare metal firmware for light modems (Power Line Communication) transmitter and receiver.▪ Development of EOL test firmware for several PCBa testing (Lighting and Energy business);▪ Re-write IOT gateways code in NodeJS Typescript with improved remote logging and OTA updates capability.▪ Development / re-write several lighting business production line automation / support tools.

NDS (Navigation Data Standard https://nds-association.org ) is a standard way to compile and distribute a digital map database to be used in automotive industry. HERE uses proprietary map database to compile maps according NDS specifications, which are delivered directly to OEM customers.As a Project Manager for NDS Automotive Digital Maps my main tasks are:a) Manage the NDS map compilation cycles with both internal and external teams (mix of external suppliers in Ukraine and in house dev teams in Mumbai India);b) Direct interaction with OEM Customer (VW and Audi) for status reporting, delivery schedule agreement, new feature introduction, bug / problem solving; c) Ensure the smooth transition of the project from R&D stage into maintenance stage for the full life cycle (10 to 15 years);d) Responsible to assure A-Spice compliance on the managerial level processes;e) Risk / Issue Management & Monitoring;f) Change Request estimationsg) Internal Management Reporth) Monitoring of both internal and supplier’s KPIs;Areas of intervention:▪ NDS Project: Volkswagen MIB3 OI Navigation System – Main Maintenance Project Manager▪ NDS Project: Audi MIB2+ Navigation System – Backup to Main Maintenance Project Manager▪ Creation of internal and external reports on the status of the projects▪ Support NDS maintenance team in Eindhoven with small automation tasks.
