Developed both commercial and residential spaces as well as new products for thriving start up firm. • Design/Management: Worked with clients to understand their goals for a successful project and lead in-house team to develop solutions that responded to those needs. With commercial projects, design included extensive collaboration with marketing team, client and architect of record. Determined project budgets, staffing and timeline. Managed production of construction documents by in house staff as well as outside consultants. Facilitated bidding process and adapted designs to gain value while not loosing sight of intent. Played key role in transforming office from home based operation to well published, award-winning firm. • Design/Management: Developed Architecture and Interior Design projects from initial concept to completion. Conducted regular meetings with contractors and fabricators to anticipate/resolve problems throughout the building process. • Business Management: Planned and budgeted for both operating and project costs. Sourced and procured specialty materials and equipment for all projects. Created comprehensive business plan for speculative real estate development elaborating opportunities, strategies and project budgets.

Design collateral, signage and web sites. Projects include the creation of AOL’s international corporate branding web site, as well as the redesign of The Poetry Society of America’s bi-annual calendar/brochure. Other clients include: AT&T, Interbrand, The New York Academy of Medicine, PS122, and Vitra.

Created graphic work for print and web applications. Designed suite for art house film distribution company including print and on-line catalogs, ad campaigns, collateral, web sites and packaging. Responsible for entire scope of projects from conceptualization to output. Coordinated with marketing specialists, outside content providers, technical development team and printers. Other projects included collateral, multimedia, and identity systems.

Responsibilities included designing and producing several publications as well as providing support on other projects by creating identity systems, books, layouts, advertisements, informational graphics, and illustrations.
