Joined at the early beginning of FLUIDINOVA to coordinate the conception, design, construction and start-up of the industrial plant for producing nano-hydroxyapatite through the NETmix® technology. Started from literature research and pilot plant trials, evolving for the project definition, to finally supervise the plant construction and start-up, managing the internal team and subcontractors.

Process Engineer at the Alhandra Cement and Clinker Production Site of CIMPOR.Work developed as a Process Engineer in the Production plant, Process control Lab and Quality Lab.

Researcher at the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra under the subject of Benzene Nitration. Five papers published and six International Scientific Conferences attended in the field. Nitration R&D Group executive Leader with coordination of several students, trainees, researchers and R&D activities. Work in cooperation with the Portuguese company Quimigal, now CUF – Químicos Industriais.

Work in a R&D project for building a continuous process pilot plant for studying Aromatic Nitration reactions.
