PDouble first learned how to DJ on a set of turntables over a decade and a half ago in his hometown of Toronto, Canada with the SoundQuest Entertainment Group. In 2001, he made the move back to his country of origin and since then, has prospered as an MC for clubs, parties and major events such as Playground, Godskitchen, SunDaze, Jakarta Movement, Djakarta Warehouse Project and more, alongside some of the greatest international talents, like Tiesto, AvB, Sasha, Paul van Dyk, Deadmau5, John Digweed amongst many others. He has branched out into different ventures as well, such as hosting a television program on O-Channel and a syndicated radio show on HardRockFM. His tours have taken him to over 30 cities around Indonesia, bringing his skills to the far reaches of the nation, earning him numerous awards along the way (Rookie of the Year 2005, Paranoia Icon 2006, FreeMag MC of the Year 2007, Paranoia MC of the Year 2009 & REDMA MC of the Year 2010).His latest venture, however, brings him back to where it all started, behind two turntables & a mic. Having learned to DJ during the Golden Era of hiphop in the 90s, his musical taste has led him to an urban fusion of old school sounds of hiphop/R&B, disco classics & funk, to various ranges of house music and dance floor anthems. With electronic music grabbing much of the spotlight as of late, PDouble has made the exciting transition from MC to DJ, using his unique style of combining both simultaneously during his performances and since the beginning of 2010, has been well received by the masses, bringing his incomparable style to numerous venues in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali and other major cities. His unique character has undoubtedly enticed the likes of several international brands such as Nike Indonesia, Aerial7, 16D’Scale, Smirnoff Ice & Time International for which he is a proud ambassador, not to mention this one-of-a-kind music connoisseur also represents one half of the newly formed, Soulmenace Soundsystem.
