Responsible for the planning, budgeting and implementation and completion of all construction activities at Habitat for Humanity, to include new home construction, home rehabilitation, critical home repair, home preservation and weatherization activities. Act as general contractor for new home construction. Interface with local governments, inspectors, compliance officers, vendors, engineers, sponsors, volunteers and contractors as well as communicates the status of each project and workflow to internal staff on a regular basis. Member of the leadership team, providing input on strategic organizational direction. Oversight, planning, and coordination of all phases of the building process. Act as liaison to the home office from the field force. Make decisions on behalf of the client to ensure that effective business solutions are designed, implemented, supported, and measured to maintain or improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the life of the application or technology.Provide technology consultation and expertise in support of mobile computing devices such as smart phones and tablets to end users. Evaluate new and emerging mobile technologies for fit, impact, and alignment to business applications. Partner with telecommunication providers AT&T Sprint Verizon to ensure effective mobile and technology enabled solutions to the field. Develop capability and technology roadmaps and provide consultation on computing platforms, PC Backups, storage, collaboration, email and secure email technologies that align to corporate strategies
