The startup and day-to-day running of the Dublin based office of Alien Technology Transfer.

Supervising the grant preparation procedure and making sure all proposals were to the highest level of quality. Other duties included training new members of staff.

Undertaking all areas of grant preparation for the H2020 SME Instrument, including: writing the proposals; analysing business and technical concepts; IPR management; identifying and negotiating with partners; financial projections; market analysis; work planning. Within this period I successfully funded 13 project.

Preparation of proposals for the H2020 SME Instrument on behalf of SMEs and Startups based in Europe.

Through the school I was placed at a variety of institutions in Rome to teach English at, including various secondary schools and the foreign office. Within the role I was expected to prepare and present appropriate information in a comprehensive and interactive manner whilst managing the class, as well as preparing lessons, correcting students work and monitoring their progress.

Researching the feasibility and planning the roll-out of cost and emissions saving methods such as the use of LED lights and a garden waste recycling service, the latter of which got successfully implemented.

I was invited to join the development team to support the company’s expansion in to the European Market, beginning in Rhodes, Greece. Whilst in the UK I worked on research and operational duties with the boats in preparation for the launch abroad, and from July 2010 I became full time based in Greece.
