Netfoil Technical Project Manager
The Netfoil Technical Project Manager conducts the area’s project work and leads the Netfoil IT team. The role works on behalf of the Netfoil Management Board to run its projects as well as to act as a team leader. The role must have a high-level of regard for development technology, current and emerging, and hardware solutions. It will ensure that there is a constant level of communication and that deliverables are provided to plan and within cost. It will be responsible for highlighting any deviations from that which is expected and suggest remedial actions to compensate for these exceptions to the Netfoil Management Board.The role is responsible for the Netfoil IT team, setting objectives, conducting appraisals and leading the team through projects and work requests. It is very much a hands-on roll with active participation in developing applications and database management.The Netfoil Technical Project Manager is responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of Netfoil-related applications. This includes supporting and maintaining current and future IT systems which may also include web-based applications.Reporting directly to the Netfoil Management Board, Head of Projects & Development, but with a dotted reporting line to the IT Development Manager, the Netfoil Technical Project Manager shall proactively offer their support in any matters in which they have experience and behave as a mentor to other members of the team. The role is expected to set an example, following the Change Management process and the Hill Dickinson tailored Prince2 project methodology, HDP2, as well as any other processes and procedures set out for best practice.
