The platform enabled Aviva to hurdle several technology-based barriers to entry in order to aggressively compete with other carriers targeting the financial services industry.

• Responsible for identifying business development opportunities and the integration of marketing strategies for life and annuity products. Supported both the institutional and independent agent distribution channels..
• Led the strategic direction and development of the industry’s first proprietary internet-based insurance order entry system for life products resulting in a 23% increase in annual sales.
• Extended the technology referenced above to create a revolutionary, multi-carrier on-line order entry solution for clients that resulted in an 18% increase in new life business totaling $11M in 2007.
