I worked with many parts of the OpenVMS operating system and its layered products. - Ported applications and build environments for the port of OpenVMS to X86-64 hardware - Built, maintained, and produced kits for dozens of layered products - Modified TCP/IP network stack for required changes, including FTP and SSL - Enhanced and maintained PCSI, the application used for all OpenVMS and product installations - Installed, configured, and managed an 8-node OpenVMS Cluster, with X86-64, IA64, and Alpha nodes, and FibreChannel storage, for software development and building layered products - Configured and used VirtualBox hypervisor for booting and testing OpenVMS and products on the X86-64 architecture

I designed, developed and enhanced the tool Dell uses to analyze and report on customers' network environments. The tool presents detailed data in order for analysts to report on the configuration of hosts, switches and network storage. The automation in the software allowed proactive changes to be made to customer systems to avoid failures and enhance storage performance.Tools used in development: C#, XML, InfoPath, Visual Studio and XSLT.
