ISTAR experienced operator. Completed a 3 year tour in the USA followed by a further year in the UK (including duties as a liaison officer at regional Headquarters in the Middle East advising on tasking and integration). Daily routine working with multi-national coalition forces. Familiar with FMV, comms, on-board sensors including SAR. Delivery of Human Factors (HF) continuation training at Unit level.

Served on the C-130K Hercules Air Transport (AT) fleet including specialist elements, involving aerial delivery of both troops and equipment, NVG operations and low level tactical flight. Managed projects in support of the Hercules Operational Evaluation Unit (HOEU) developing new equipment programmes requiring flight trails. Collaborated with (then) Marshall Aerospace, RAF Air Warfare Centre (AWC), QinetiQ, DSTL and aircraft/equipment manufacturers. Involved in numerous overseas operations and exercises. Role instructor for ‘on-the-job’ continuation training of personnel in certain AT disciplines. Served as both Station and Unit Combat Survival and Rescue Officer (CSRO).Additional duties: Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Pre-School Nursery – responsible for 10 civilian staff. First Reporting officer (RO) for civilian Unit Secretary. Member of Officers Mess Social Function Committee. Help For Heroes Committee.
