Engaged Sandia’s Web Development & Design team to employ a new WordPress platform resulting in the consistent growth of the daily bulletin.Served as the emergency public information officer for Sandia’s California site. Prepared for and actively participated in regular emergency planning exercises. Supported Sandia/California’s Emergency Management organization during site-wide evacuation due to a power outage, on-site brush fire, and regular COVID-19 building closures. During the COVID-19 pandemic, employed clear and effective workforce communication tactics, including deploying critical and time-sensitive leadership announcements and operations updates related to stay-at-home orders, masking, social distancing, testing, and vaccination requirements. Led communications efforts for the Labswide vaccination program, including regular manager and employee communications, moderating virtual town hall discussions, and contributing to other promotional videos, digital kiosk ads, and other media.
