Throughout my career I have for thirty-eight years provided strategic policy advice, analysis, and legal counsel about federal, state and local legislative and regulatory matters while serving in senior policy making positions at a nationwide public affairs firm, a national trade association, and in federal and state government. I have experience in managing staff and budgets as well as providing strategic thought leadership on behalf of private and public sector employers in the areas of policy formulation, program development, issues advocacy, governmental relations and public affairs. I have designed and implemented public policy, advocacy, and political action campaigns that promoted and advocated policies and programs on behalf of governmental agencies, industry associations and clients to interest organizations, government officials, advocacy groups and the public at large. I also have built and directed federal, state and local government affairs, grassroots, political action committee programs, and have a well-established nationwide network of relationships with federal, state and local elected officials and regulators.
