Paul is a member of the Idaho State Bar Association and its Family Law and Workers' Compensation Sections (past board president), and a member of the Seventh District Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Idaho, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Court of Federal Claims. He is also a member of the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel. He has spoken at workers' compensation seminars and served on the Idaho Industrial Commission Rehabilitation Task Force and on the State Bar Examination Committee. He is currently chairman of the State Bar Examination Reasonable Accommodation Committee and a volunteer for the YMCA. He received the Idaho State Bar Professionalism Award in 2003 and the Idaho State Bar Service Award in 2005.Specialties: Defense of total permanent disability claims in workers' compensation; prosecution of Claimant's workers' compensation cases; high conflict family law matters, e.g. divorce, custody and support, property and debt, etc., family estate planning, real estate and condominium law,as well as litigation in numerous civil law areas, related to both personal and property issues
