I have 25+years of construction management experience working with Telecom , Data Centers, Fuel Systems, and Power & Gas Utility Companies. At the age of 21, I was finishing up MJC with my AS Degree in Biology. I had plans to go onto a 4-year college to get my BS in Biology and peruse a path in the Medical Microbiology field. However; right before I graduated from MJC my lovely wife became pregnant. It was a shock and I quickly realized I needed to find a job and support my new family. That is when my journey into Construction started.....and I have never looked back since.At the age of 21, I joined Gettler Ryan and started as an electrician apprentice. I spent the first year of my career in the field digging trenches, installing conduit, pulling wire, and hooking up electrical devices for the ground up gas station projects Gettler Ryan did for ARCO, Shell and Chevron. That first year I learned what hard work was all about and it humbled me to know that I was a part of building something with a team of other workers. Their was a true since of value and deep respect for what I was a part of.Then one day I will never forget, as I was working in the field the VP of Operations came to visit the jobsite. He approached me and said, "I have heard good things about you and wanted to see if you would like to join me in the office and learn that side of construction." I was blown away that he singled me out and picked me. I was so humbled and thankful for him. For the next 5-years I worked in the office with the VP and other project managers developing my skills. I began to estimate and manage all of our electrical and special fuel tank projects.From there, I received a great opportunity working for Roebbelen as a Project Manager. I spent the next 9 years of my career dedicated to managing their AT&T portfolio of projects in Contra Costa County. This experience was so beneficial to my growth. I managed with my team hundreds of projects during this course of time. From the small few thousand dollar project, to full scale Restack Tenant Improvements, to large $25M data center additions. It was amazing!For the past 8 years and present I am back with Roebbelen, managing their PG&E account as a Project Executive overseeing multiple teams and delivering great projects for them.Through my years and experience, I have developed a strong level of respect for all that I work with. I value everyone in the project team and love what I do!
