Lead SAP effort for Fisker, an exciting global electric vehicle manufacturer. This work was primarily a turnaround effort, but unfortunately the firm is hovering near bankruptcy for a number of reasons.

Served as Advisory Point Partner on key accounts, focusing services to maximize value to the client. Interlock Point Partner coordinating delivery of specific services across the Energy space.Provided coaching to C-level Executives and direct reports related to IT transformation, business process transformation programs, and CIO Advisory Services.

Direct key functions of our ERP transformation effort based on SAP. This transformation program was one of the largest in the world. Responsible for process engineering, delivery of hardware/applications environments, business intelligence, security & compliance, technical development and ARIS modeling. BHP member on SAP's Industry Advisory Council for Mining.Chief Information Officer for Energy Coal segment. a $14B segment of BHP Billiton. Lead IT transformation efforts by assessing the current applications footprint, implementing a new IT strategy, value management process and performance metrics. Transition to a new IT operating model, adjusting roles, responsibilities and governance accordingly.

Responsible for leading the Americas SAP Consulting Group. Complete P&L and operational responsibility for the Practice's consulting & systems integration efforts.Served as SAP Industry Practice Leader for Utilities. Responsible for leading a growth-oriented go-to-market approach, setting strategy, and driving sales and delivery results for the industry.Responsible for all applications delivery, applications management and IT project work for a $3B+ Utility. Worked with the client to manage applications process from strategy through delivery. Managed P&L, budget for approximately 100 personnel. Serve as the integration point between EDS Energy practice and EDS SAP practice.Sales support, delivery and practice development activities related to the SAP practice. Identify and pursue business development opportunities and deliver solutions to clients. Served as the Domain Leader for the Financial Controls Management portion of the practice, with responsibility for methodology, thought leadership, recruiting, and training activities.

Responsible for all aspects of development, deployment and support for GM's next generation of financial and indirect procurement systems, the Global Financial & Indirect Materials Solution (GFIMS). The program is GM's largest global, common application program and supports all financial transaction processing, legal and managerial reporting, and the entire procurement process for approximately $14B in Indirect spend. The solution relies on a variety of SAP components, including ECC(FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, VMS, DIMP and limited PP), Supplier Relationship Mgmt (SRM), and Business Warehouse (BW). The program also has considerable change management, reengineering and technical interface development aspects. This is an Executive position with significant interface to the CIO/staff, as well as the CFO/staff, Corporate Controller and the Global Process Leader for Purchasing/staff. Extensive work with a complex network of international business and technology stakeholders is required.

Responsible for strategy development and reegineering projects across supply chain, manufacturing and quality. Selected projects include:- Reengineer/redesign sales & demand alignment, planning, forecasting, sales analysis, supply chain part planning and supplier capacity management capabilities for GM's next generation of "Order to Delivery" project- Reorganized the Vehicle Supply Operations organization- Develop corporate systems strategy for Global Quality Analysis, including text analysis/mining, warranty analysis, data warehousing and quality workbenches- Develop corporate knowledge management systems strategy for sharing knowledge within and across the engineering, mfg. engineering, manufacturing and supply chain organizations- Realign and converge all indirect materials solutions worldwide to a common global vision/solution using SAP R/3, SRM and Business Warehouse.

Accountability for program delivery for large-scale global SAP implementations for corporate multinationals, particularly in the Aerospace & Defense sector. One of five key practice leaders within the A&D SAP practice targeting business development opportunities, performing planning & scoping, organizing and delivering projects, performing client management activities. Selected projects include:- Main author of PWC's "Value Chain for Aerospace & Defense", the baseline blueprint used to evaluate and implement systems solutions for large A&D clients.- Delivery of global SAP solutions to large A&D company with varied product line ranging from space systems, electronics, ground systems, aircraft manufacture & service- Delivery of global SAP solutions to large A&D company manufacturing large jet engines and related services- Work directly with SAP Palo Alto Labs on initial outline of mySAP for Aerospace.
