My main passion is finding ways to "wow" people. My interest has always been to find ways to provide emotional experiences. Many often need to remember the value of meaningful and emotional experiences in the age of clickbait and social media. I am also a Virtual Reality (aka metaverse) enthusiasts since 2014. , Mainly because of VR's ability to create immersive experiences that "wow" people emotionally on a level not limited to the limits of reality. I seek to work full-time for a company that can provide unique and emotional experiences through a product or service. By nature, I am a creative person, and I accidentally entered the world of technology when I created a Virtual Reality arcade. When I co-founded this business, my goal was to enter the entertainment industry, and I accidentally also entered the tech industry. While building a Virtual Reality (aka Metaverse) arcade in Canada, I raised CAD 400,000 in startup money and $15,000 in receive grants through my outreach methods. At the time, I was only 33 years old with no experience in managing a brick-and-mortar business. This experience taught me the value of being a self-starter, expecting and learning from mistakes. Rather than over-prepare for errors that might not even be relevant.While seeking full-time employment, I created NY Tech, Creative, and Business Professionals Happy Hour. I started this community because I value in-person activities during the internet age. I enjoy meaningful conversations with people in real life. The monthly event series gets an average of 80 people per event. I run this Meetup as a way for me to find new relationships and be productive while seeking full-time employment. Running this Meetup group has taught me skills that can easily be transferred to a role in lead generation and partnerships manager for a company. The group's growth is not a result of any paid advertising. I have learned how to create a call-to-action to encourage people to RSVP—securing venue space results from building a relationship with the venue owners. I manage and greet up to 80 to 100 people for each event.
