I guess you can say I’m obsessed with efficiency. Learn and become an asset. It all began at the University of Miami where I developed a passion for building software, but post-graduation ended up seizing a management opportunity at a Fortune 50 company. Spending the first decade of my professional life in engineering management right out of college was the most important leadership experience of my career; imagine a 20 something leading 20-year career experts. An industrial engineer. I was absolutely fueled by figuring out ways to make impactful operational changes that reduced costs and optimized processes; there is a certain thrill that accompanies this type of work, especially when playing a primary role in taking the district to the #1 internal ranking (of 42). After 10 years, several promotions and extensive responsibilities throughout the state of Florida, I pivoted to a start-up opportunity.Bringing vision to reality. Build the tech to help doctors easily and scientifically recommend skincare using the inventions and vision of a world-renowned dermatologist. In parallel, apply some of those streamlining skillsets to the dermatology practice to make it run more efficiently and profitably - setting it up for a smooth acquisition. Now with a robust software solution for both doctors and consumers, and an amazing following, the vision has come to life. Nearly 20 years. Finishing up the second decade of my professional life continuing to expand our once entrepreneurship effort – the journey continues and what lies ahead is as exciting as ever.Life beyond work. Beach life all summer long. Former running enthusiast, but still try to hit the streets at least once a week these days. I am an avid traveler having visited more than 20 countries and live in Europe 3 months a year with my wife and dog, each time an unbelievable experience words cannot describe!
