My Fulbright Scholar project is to develop a model that brings together international students and faculty to increase their capacity and skillfulness to successfully collaborate with colleagues from different cultures utilizing online communication tools. From September 2019 to June 2020 I will assist in curriculum development and teach courses with our partner university in Russia, Novgorod State University, related to international leadership, designed to engage leaders from business and education in a new joint online certificate program.

Director, Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program To Indonesia
This prestigious Fulbright program will allow a group of practicing North Carolina K-12 teachers, Appalachian faculty, and upper-level Education majors to study in Indonesia for four weeks, focusing on history, culture, and the arts, in order to develop content-specific and interdisciplinary curriculum, as well as immersive digital media, to be used both in their schools and distributed online for all educators to access. This program will create an online repository available to educators throughout the U.S. to access lesson plans, cross-curricular ideas, digital storytelling, interviews, and immersive media of realia, historic landmarks, performances, ceremonies, and daily life.
