Paul Sampson, known as one of the fastest players in the history of world rugby was the English Schoolboy Champion as an 18 year old.Deciding rugby over athletics, spells in both the Union and League codes followed. ‘Sammo’ played over 100 games of rugby at both London Wasps and London Welsh and featured on the World 7ns circuit for England, including the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, shortly after winning his first cap for England against South Africa. For over a decade since retiring, human performance and well-being have been at the forefront of many of Paul's interests.Paul works and fulfils his ambassadorial roles across several mental health, sports and military based charities including ‘Strongmen’ and internationally known ‘100 World Legends’ and remains the Rugby Club Captain for the Royal Marines RFC.Aside from his philanthropic activities and being a father to his two sons, Sammo carefully balances his time in his own business interests as an executive coach and roasting coffee whilst spending the majority of his time developing the Tempus Group concept.
