I will be responsible for the validation of airbag electronic module calibrations for multiple vehicle platforms. and will create, document, and execute test plans related to calibration validation using Veoneer in house HIL test simulators.Primary duties will be developing, executing and verifying comprehensive validation test plans for specific vehicle programs that cover all aspects of airbag electronic module deployment behavior.Additional responsibilities will include definition of test specific setup requirements to perform the validation, coordinating the build of validation test equipment, and troubleshooting issues found during validation by organizing a cross functional team (calibration, tools, system, software) for analysis and issue resolution.I will work closely with the calibration development team for test requests, sensor input data, expected deployment results, and review of the test results.

I tested vehicles and software for FCA, created test plans for testing, and helped directly impact features added to diagnostic software on a global level. I was also in charge of making sure our software was translated into all supported languages for both FIAT and Chrysler Group versions of our diagnostic application. I perform tests on both hardware and software regarding vehicle diagnostics. Some of these tests occur on virtual vehicle electronic control systems (called vehicle bucks). The other half of the testing occurs on actual vehicles. These tests are performed with diagnostic tools and consist of testing both production and pre-production diagnostics software. Another part of the job is to inventory production and pre-production diagnostic devices throughout the local, national, and in some cases, world areas.
