CurrentAkustiks is an acoustical consultancy specializing in performing arts, museum and arts education facilities. Our typical projects include concert halls, opera houses, dance theaters, drama theaters, multi-purpose performing arts centers, amphitheaters, museums, music schools and arts education centers. Among our best known projects are Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the much acclaimed new home of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Mixon Hall, the new jewel-box recital hall at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, which opened to rave reviews in March 2012. Other recently completed projects include the Tobin Center in San Antonio, TX, the Gaillard Center in Charleston, SC and the expansion of the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN.
