Led development of TurboVote, a system that makes voting by mail as easy as renting a DVD from Netflix.• Sole full-stack engineer for first two election cycles.• Led team that grew TurboVote from 500 users under shared hosting to 250,000 users in a EC2-based DevOps/cloud environment.• Mailed over 80,000 registration/ballot request forms, stamps and envelopes to voters.• Created infrastructure to easily scale to hundreds of partner sites (with customizations and co-branding). Part of the Mac OS X team for Jaguar (10.2) through Snow Leopard (10.6). A software engineering generalist, I dealt largely with usability issues, but have extensive knowledge of many parts of Mac OS X. I wrote tools and infrastructure software used by engineers on the Mac OS X, Server, iPhone, iPod, Developer Tools, MobileMe, QuickTime and CPU Software teams.I spoke frequently, both internally at Apple and at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference.
