Responsible for Processes and Quality Assurance on Sapiens' projects for Clients with UK based development including Royal London, Scottish Widows (Lloyds Banking Group), Wesleyan and UNUM; Australian client MetLife and 2 large tier 1 Retirment Services projects in the USA.Chair the UK Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) which includes all senior managers with responsibility for project delivery and the heads of software delivery functional areas.I was also responsible for the company's Intranet content and for much of our corporate web site's content, but have now relinquished these responsibilities to focus on my core role..

Helped establish the Process Quality Assurance department in FIS. Wrote or contributed to a number of processes which were being defined as part of the company's move to CMMI accreditation. Assigned to a number of projects as SQE, helping projects adopt and follow the processes, conducting work product reviews and periodic process audits.Lead analyst and designer for the implementation of ClearQuest as the global Issue Management Tool. Played "a vital part" in helping the company achieve Level 3 CMMI accreditation.

Defined many of the company's processes and the organisation's Software Development Life Cycle for the first time.

I joined FIS in Oct. 2001 as the first Test (QA) Manager, creating the test team and all approriate tools and standards. I was soon asked to create an internal Training course. Initially delivered by myself and test team colleagues, I eventually recruited professional staff for that team. Finally, I set up the Documentation team. Before I moved to help the company develop processes, I was managing these three teams comprising some 15 staff.

A variety of Business and Process Analysis assignments in Insurance, Finance and Utilities companies, as well as internal projects including an insurance Data Warehouse

Joined the UK General Insurance head office (then named Westgate Insurance) of the multi-national AXA group as a Business Analysts, later becoming a Project Manager. In both roles, I was the IT 'owner' of a number of systems, including the credit control and agency systems, which I designed and implemented. I led the team to convert the in house system to a package General Ledger. I designed and implemented the MIS which was widely acclaimed as a leading tool in the industry.I represented the smaller UK insurance companies on the ABI (industry body) committee dealing with the introduction of insurance Premium Tax, and sat on a number of other industry bodies, including early electronic trading standards. This led to AXA becoming one of the first companies to use electronic broker statements.In later years, I was also in charge of software tools and package evaluation. In that role, I introduced a 4GL reporting system for both end user and IT department use.
