Assisted with the design of a Heavy Gas Cerenkov Detector during my last NSERC term. I took an iterative approach to optimize the detector’s design using GEANT4 Monte Carlo physics framework in C++. The detector is part of the Super High Momentum Spectrometer following the 12GeV upgrade to the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.
