I am a fully trained Realitis engineer and fully competent in carrying out remote fault diagnostic and fixes. I am also trained on a number of telephony voicemail applications. All work needs to be carried out accurately to reduce any risk to the customers phone system. Helpdesk Support Specialist - 2Nd Line
Key memebr of the Centrica 2nd Line team where I actively managed faults on several PBX’s from dialling in to managing suppliers to fault resolution. This involved working during the day and on a call-out rota so faults can be managed 24 hours a day.In October 2000, a new professional services helpdesk was formed, dedicated to one customer and a team leader was required. I managed 2 helpdesks for the customer, one being a 1st line helpdesk (10 people), a 2nd line network support team (7 people) and the moves, additions and changes team (3 people). The Centrica helpdesk was new to Unify and I was actively involved in producing procedure documents, planning resources for personnel and implementing new procedures to the helpdesk.Communication skills are a key part to being a team leader, being able to communicate with my team members, internal departments and customers at all levels is the most important part of the role.

I worked in three areas of Nationwide during this period. I spent 3½ years at Kingsthorpe branch. I deputised for customer service manager in her absence and Interviewed customers for investment and basic mortgage advice. For 18 months at Moulton Park in the independent financial services division were I managed 3 investment consultant diaries for the South of the country.The remainder of the time as a trainer for a new featurenet system being rolled out to the branches. Travelling to branches access the country and train all members of branch staff on the phone system being implemented. I was required to survey the branch prior to installation and collect exact requirements from the branch staff and make appropriate suggestions.
