Project Engineering• Interacted with staff, sister mills, and local operations teams to identify and define a plant specific project scope as well as refining financial estimates thru direct assessment and subsequent self generated contractor bid packages. • Developed work breakdowns in MS Project and plant layout / assembly prints using AutoCAD / Solidworks. • Administrated equipment preparation, staging, and installation via contractor or in-house labor, completion of installation checkouts, and insured functional operation through each machine startup within strict timeframes.• Mill Project & Mechanical lead for new tissue unwind upgrade project with a mill budget of $1.6M and a sector budget of $6.3M. This budget was maintained through installations on all 7 machines in the New Milford plant.• Initiated work related activities with the help of SAP software.Reliability Engineering• Part of plant development team in both packaging and fluff areas which provided daily troubleshooting assistance, monitored area waste & delay trends, increase productivity by developing focused product improvements. • Individual, team and sector level concepts were designed, developed, procured, installed, tested, and implemented. • Mill Mechanical lead for forming drums, debulker module, elastic flap, waist elastic pneumatic checkout & troubleshooting, fluff end and air system upgrade, general product improvement, and guarding projects.• Reduced fluff end maintenance and delay costs by 70% and helped increase overall machine speeds by 27%
