Led to pool division of Pivot International (Pivot-Solar Breeze) after it acquired the assets of Solar Pool Technologies, Inc. Built on the success of the Solar-Breeze solar powered robotic pool cleaner, introduced a new model to the category and facilitated the sale of Pivot-Solar-Breeze assets to a larger pool product manufacturer.

Solar Pool Technologies, Inc. combines solar energy with robotics to create products that reduce the cost and hassle of keeping a swimming pool clean. The Solar-Breeze solar-powered robotic pool cleaner was introduced for the 2011 swim season and since that time we have sold thousands of units in 40 states and 16 countries. This product is an autonomous robot that removes debris from the surface of your pool BEFORE it decays and sinks to the bottom, resulting in less bacteria growth in the pool and less filtration required to keep you pool clean. It also distributes sanitizer as it operates. Solar-Breeze owners spend far less personal time on pool maintenance, save hundreds of dollars annually on energy costs and always have a Swim-Ready sparkling clean pool. The Solar-Breeze is the first in a line of products that will make it possible to take swimming pools off the electric grid.

Acquired an emergency vehicle dealership with my partner in 2003. We restructured the management team and company processes to more than double revenues and greatly improve profitability over the first 3 years of operations.

Restructured a North American sales team responsible for in excess of $250 million in annual sales to provide more rapid and effective support to the organization’s dealer network. In conjunction, implemented a strategic selling training program to improve close rates with high volume prospects.

Carried complete P&L responsibilities for this emergency vehicle manufacturing business. Over the three-years period as General Manager, was able to turnaround earnings from a loss situation to a significant profit. This was achieved through a clear focus on growing sales of profitable products, developing high performing work teams and eliminating waste through process improvement.
