Our primary means of service is to provide a Christ-centered, high-quality education for children aged infant to 8th grade. We aim to offer a safe environment where these children can be fed, educated, discipled, and given the tools to escape the perils of their surroundings. I have been a long time supporter of this ministry and have visited them multiple times. In 2019, I was asked to assume the role of Chairman of the Board for their US operation. It is amazing to me how much can be done for so little. This ministry feeds and educates 300+ children for ~$30/child. At Wells of Joy, we seek to address the spiritual and educational needs of the community by using our facility as a church and a school.Ministering to people who live in the slum is unlike any other ministry. Life in the slum is a daily struggle with utter poverty and its degrading and dehumanizing impact. Because the most basic needs for life are so scarce many parents struggle to provide for their families while sheltering them from the negative influences surrounding them.We believe lives can be changed by offering hope, support, and encouragement through education.HOW WE SERVE:-Christian Education-Two daily meals (during the week)-Discipleship-Hope for the future
