Practiced law as a corporate attorney at Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander & Ferdon, then became inhouse counsel at both Salomon Brothers and BankBoston. Transitioned to the asset management industry just before Y2K, and have enjoyed raising institutional assets for both traditional and non-traditional asset managers ever since.In October of 2022 I became a partner at Cornerstone Investment Partners based in Atlanta. CIP manages over $2 billion in long-only pubic equity value and core strategies across all market caps. I will be leading CIP's business development efforts with institutional and private wealth investors.During my asset management career, I have been fortunate to work with more than a hundred different investment strategies ranging from long-only public equity and fixed income strategies to hedge funds, liquid alts and even a private crypto fund.I am a seasoned business development pro with a strong sense of team, integrity and hard work. I believe I have found a way to successfully apply the communication, work ethic and analytical skills I developed as an attorney to the asset management field. That translation has enabled me to establish an extensive network of consultant and institutional investor contacts throughout much of the country that have been pivotal to my success as an asset gatherer throughout my career.
