Provide System Administration and support to the U.S. Army's Electronic Medical Documentation and Record keeping system known as MC4 (Medical Communications in Combat Casualty Care,) throughout various locations worldwide.

Provide System Administration and support to the U.S. Army's Medical assets in Afghanistan in support of their Electronic Medical Documentation and Record keeping system known as MC4 (Medical Communications in Combat Casualty Care.

Provide oversight, guidance, and instruction to both MC4 System Administrators and Trainers in regards to new features of changes in systems or software of MC4,Provide classroom instruction to Active duty Army, NG, and Reservist for their Tier I/II Support of MC4 Systems and Software.Perform duties of instructor for MC4 “Boot Camp,” to train new System Administrators on the MC4 Systems.Assist Knowledge Management with MC4 System Administrator Guides (SAGs) by either creating new content or by reviewing, editing content prepared for others. This documentation is then used throughout the MC4 community to help and guide others to setup and support MC4 systems.

Performed the duties of MC4 (Medical Communications of Combat Casualty Care EMR system) Country lead of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait – supervising as many as Lead System Administrator in Tier 1 and Tier 2 support in medical facilities in Kuwait, Iraq and AfghanistanCollaborate and coordinate training, system deployments and upgrades and supervise deployment teamsInstall and maintain Information Systems for Tactical Medical Care Echelon I, II, III facilities Assisting Hospital staff in adopting and implementing best business practices and integration of the automated electronic medical record system EMR (AHLTA-T, TC2, Joint Medical Electronic Work Station, TMDS, DCAM, and medical reference software)Verify the reliable encrypted transmission of daily Electronic Medical Records from Iraq/Kuwait/Afghanistan to the Theater Medical Data Store (TMDS) and JMeWS systems via the Expeditionary Framework (EF/TF)Collaborate with Military Signal Commands in resolving firewall issues and adding/removing network devicesSetup and configure Windows 2003 servers / clientsIdentify and resolve technical issues; communicate and report all issues to the Theater Medical Information Systems Program (TMIP) for tracking and refining installation and post install checklistsEnsure Information Assurance compliance for all users on the Information SystemTrain users in the proper use of the System including Information Security and HIPAA complianceCreate and Manage user account access and permission levels in compliance with Patient Care and HIPAAReport and Investigate Information Assurance violations.Interact with all users at all levels including the Commanding Officer of the Hospital facility.
