Golf Connect Media is a network based digital screen technology that enables the deployment of targeted advertising in a ‘live’ shopping environment. Golf Connect Media (GCM) forms part of Golf Connect, a retail consultancy for green grass golf shops - delivering top line sales growth and improved profitability. We founded GCM to leverage Golf Connect’s existing network of +130 golf shop clients. We established a technology partnership with SONIQ Australia and focused primarily on content creation and sales and marketing.

Eminence Capital Management (ECM) is a quantitative based investment management firm, specialising in global equities. ECM manages the Eminence Global Long Short Fund which was launched January 2017.I worked with the founders to establish the Investment Review Committee framework and chaired the monthly meetings to formalise rigorous analysis and evaluation of fund performance. The objective was to promote continual improvement and drive creative ideas into the investment process.

Ice&Easy™ - the ultra-convenient new POS for bagged ice, making major shopping centres the new easy place to buy ice, placed within easy access of car parks and/or large grocery retailers.I worked closely with our co-founders in all aspects of delivering this solution within six months of our first pitch to Westfield which concluded with an agreement for a multiple site rollout across Australia.

Risk101 is a global company developing and marketing portfolio management and risk systems with a focus on derivatives.Working with the CEO I developed sales and marketing strategy for the ANZ market.

On the quantitative side of BlackRock's investment spectrum we focused on total performance management, measuring, forecasting and managing the three dimensions of investment performance - return, risk and cost. The culture was collegial and innovative.Reporting to the Head of Institutional Business I was the accountable executive for the day-to-day operational and business support aspects of Institutional Business: legal, budgeting, compliance, risk, product development, KYC, AML, technology, RFPs, marketing communication, investment communications, client reporting - 12 full-time employees. I was a member of the Executive Committee assisting with formulation of the strategic plan for the long run growth of the business and the operational implementation of the business strategy.I worked closely with similar functions in other regions to take advantage of overlap and synergies while aligning with global strategic business priorities.

To begin the project I organised and chaired a four-day workshop in San Francisco for stakeholders. Stakeholders attended from all global offices (26 people). We aligned disparate teams, in different locations with different reporting lines into an effective global project with successful implementations in London and San Francisco.

I built and managed an investment performance/attribution and client reporting team in Sydney. I hired two full-time analysts and one full-time programmer, together we built an automated best-fit solution to achieve enormous scalability. We all wrote thousands of lines of VBA and SQL code to build an end-to-end solution centered around a third-party calculation engine. The system was implemented globally and operated for over 12 years.
