Consultancy and advice services during a potential metallurgical coal mine take-over in Tkvarchal (Republic of Abkhazia which is a disputed part of Georgia). Resulted in a negative advise due to significant issues in the logistical chain from mine to the port of Ochamchire.

Key focus on producing low ash high grade thermal coal for the production of the purest silicon metal for the photovoltaic solar panel industry. Managed all facets of coal trading and origination to generate profits and managing risks by hedging with banks. Negotiated contracts with ports, vessel owners/brokers and agents to facilitate transport and storage. Developed a new logistical option that generated additional revenue.
