Paul is a technologist and geek at heart who has been in the industry for 20 years at internet companies ranging from EdTech startups like Chegg to internet giants like Yahoo!.Currently, CTO at Mucker Capital, Paul is leading a team of software developers in building custom-trained, LLM-based sales tools, a predictive deal scoring platform, and algorithmic trading bots. Prior to Mucker Capital, Paul was VP of Engineering for ZestFinance, a FinTech startup leveraging machine learning models to revolutionize credit underwriting. Before ZestFinance, Paul led the Search & Personalization teams at Chegg, an EdTech company in Silicon Valley and the Search and Consumer Engineering teams at YP / yellowpages.com, formerly AT&T Interactive. Paul spent the first decade of his career in technology at goto.com / Overture Services and eventually Yahoo! designing and building highly scalable ad-serving systems.I like vim, raid, unix, networking, building computers, home automation, and futurama. and typing in all lowercase.
