Select projects include the following:- Developed algorithms to determine the most effective test scenarios for test and evaluation of autonomous underwater vehicles- Implemented optimized path planning algorithms for a marsupial robot platform in a disaster response scenario- Modeling, trajectory generation, and control of underwater, surface, and ground vehicles

My research under Dr. Sean Brennan included the areas of vehicle dynamics, system dynamics / control, sensor fusion for state estimation and navigation, mechatronics, and mechanical design. Select projects included the following:- Developed vehicle control algorithms for collision avoidance that actively adjust for threats such as rollover and tire skid- Combined low-cost navigation sensors with traffic camera position updates for improved vehicle localization- Fused data from cameras, LiDAR, GPS, and an IMU to create digital maps of roadways- Performed crash testing of anti-ram devices for U.S. embassies as protection against terrorist attacks
