My candidacy was endorsed by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News, Philadelphia Tribune, Philadelphia Gay News and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, and I was recommended by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. While my vote total fell short of what I needed, it was a great experience in terms of learning more about the city's issues, people and neighborhoods.
