Responsible for leading a small team of energy engineers with regards to technical knowledge and skills on energy efficiency, helping them:• Identify and quantify energy efficiency projects• Optimise building & process energy consumption• Provide reporting, benchmarking & forecasting of energy consumption & costs for management and regulatory compliance• Creating a business case for the implementation of resource efficient measuresAs a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), I lead M&V projects to verify energy savings for a range of energy efficiency and renewable projects.I am qualified to produce level 5 EPCs all over the UK meaning I am competent in the use of building dynamic thermal simulation software. I have produced hundreds of EPC over the last 5 years and can also use the software to ascertain the impact of potential improvement works. I am responsible and qualified to produce IRMA’s (Independent Report on Metering Arrangements) used to confirm to Ofgem that an installation seeking accreditation to the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) has suitable metering arrangements in place.Part of my role is to provide audits and expert advice to private and public sector organisations that are part of the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) scheme.
