I was working as a recruiter for engineers in Big Ag and Aerospace when my career took a 180 turn— I got a job offer from Physicians Employment. I accepted the position of Account Manager, and now, instead of recruiting, I’m on the other side of the fence helping recruiters do their job more effectively. As someone who has a history in sales, I really value the service PhysEmp.com provides to recruiters and hospitals. We offer them qualified leads so they can maximize their time placing physicians, rather than running around doing legwork to find candidates. My professional history makes me the kind of salesman who can explain the benefits of this service from the inside out—I’ve been a recruiter, and I know how challenging it is! Also, as a people-person and a problem-solver, I enjoy learning about my clients and working hard to address their needs.Throughout my career, I’ve learned that no matter your job, your attention needs to be on doing the little things well. That means staying organized, giving your all, and communicating well with your clients, potential clients and co-workers. In this light, one of my greatest career inspirations has been Jane Goodall, famed primatologist and a recruiter/salesperson in her own right. She has raised an incredible amount of awareness about the plight of wild chimpanzees over the years and has done so through passion, persistence and humility. These are the qualities I aim to bring to work each day. And I’m very passionate about spreading the word about PhysEmp.com, a company that has been connecting talented physicians and recruiters for more than 20 years. The well-being of our nation depends upon our healthcare providers, and I’m proud to play a part in helping them to connect with recruiters and hospitals.Connect with me if you want to learn how Physicians Employment can help you find doctors if you’re a recruiter—and find work if you’re a doctor.
