Songs for Sound is a 501c3 charity serving the public with over 200 hearing health and screening events each year. I was the on the road manager of the mobile clinic for nearly 2 years and director of operations for an additional year. Responsibilities included operating, maintaining, handling repairs and running a 30 foot mobile hearing clinic and large truck. I also hired and managed road managers, interacted with hundreds of event points of contact, and planned a children's hearing camp and an annual fundraising dinner.

I co-founded and helped run Wild Ginger Software for 21 years with the software creator, Dr. Lisa Christman.I worked in customer support, events and product promotion. I set up and managed over 100 sales, trade, and industry event experiences.I promoted multiple product lines to 3 distinct communities in the apparel sewing marketplace: retail consumers, manufacturers & academic institutions.

For over a quarter century, I have consulted in several industries, focusing primarily on the process of product development, to include services as a product.As a product development consultant my areas of expertise center on project planning, product development, data collection, test design and execution. I have fielded and flight-tested DoD prototype equipment for the US Army Aviation crew protection branch. To further my understanding in the subject matter, and to serve, I joined the US Army National Guard at age 30, serving for 6 years as an enlisted soldier.I have served as project manager and liaison between software development teams and the clients. I was also a co-investigator on a materials spaceflight experiment for CONCAP II/Atlantis STS 41L.

Makena creates virtual 3D worlds with avatars (virtual "humans") where individuals from around the world can gather, meet, chat, learn and interact in other business and social ways.Maintaining a civil environment with order that's conducive to the business goals of Makena, requires in-world customer service representatives.I was a virtual "greeter" and host, team builder and a team leader for marketing within the virtual world created for Makena client, Viacom. Specifically for MTV's "vMTV" project (2006 - 2009).

As team leader for GX-Tech's product development efforts, I oversaw the development of a wide and disparate range of technologies and products.These include but are not limited to: athletic apparel and workout technology; exercise machine; anti-piracy CD-ROM technology; & remotely operated vehicles using wireless video.Tasks included IP due diligence, recruitment of development team members (engineers, artists, physiologists & programmers), and the planning, execution and overseeing of prototype fabrication through pilot production & manufacturing.

Assisted in writing protective apparel design and prototype research proposals, and when awarded, working as an assistant researcher and later as a research faculty on funded research projects. Helped win more than US$1,000,000 in competitive grants and contracts from the U.S. Navy, Textile Research Center & Army Research Office.While an Auburn Faculty Researcher, received Army Research Office Faculty Fellowship (usually awarded as post doctoral research fellowships) for the summer of 1994 to conduct Army aviation crew protection prototype development at the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) - Ft. Rucker, Alabama.
