Paul Sznewajs is Executive Director of the Richard L. Duchossois Foundation, a new private philanthropy based in Chicago.Prior he was CEO of Parliament, a data and strategy consultancy for philanthropies, government agencies, nonprofits, and public officials where he helped clients leverage data to multiply their impact for social good. With nearly two decades of senior leadership experience in the philanthropic sector, he has a track record of building, launching and evaluating complex social sector initiatives. Mr. Sznewajs has led numerous fundraising campaigns and initiatives totaling more than $100M in private and public funding. He served on the transition committees for two consecutive Chicago Mayors. In his various roles he has forged alliances with numerous urban and state boards of education, departments of public health, hospitals, as well as national entities including the Aspen Institute, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities at the White House. His work has led to the creation of software platforms aimed at reducing educational inequities, with adoption by more than a 50 urban and state public school systems across the U.S. and growing.His professional experience spans across all aspects of social sector work, including: executive leadership; public-sector planning and capacity-building; strategic philanthropy; impact investment; designing and implementing large scale public/private initiatives; as well as data-driven strategy.Mr. Sznewajs received Boeing’s Game Changer Award, given to those effecting the greatest change in their industry each year.
