As part of the State Management Leadership Team, I embedded capability, integrity, and self-awareness into BOQ's Risk Culture.I did this by building relationships, and by providing the coaching, tools and support necessary for the 17 branches in the region to flourish.Customer on-boarding errors decreased dramatically in my time in the role, in contrast with a big upwards swing in the quality of Customer Needs (KYC) records.2023 saw a major upgrade to the organisation's branch control tracker; I was heavily involved in its design, testing and roll-out. Other projects that I was involved in include revitalisations of the bank's Threshold Transaction Reporting (TTR), Customer Onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC) and WHS systems and policies. The results of the many Risk Assessments that I undertook improved dramatically over my time in this role. Part of the reason for this was the use of reporting data to undertake trend analysis and the provision of targeted training on insights and themes regarding risk related activities within the region. This training was conducted both face-to-face and online, and for both groups and one-on-one. In an effort to continually improve BOQ, I provided regular feedback to improve the bank’s policies and systems. Alongside this, I ensured customer complaints, incidents and breeches were recorded and resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.This role was made redundant as part of a company restructure.

While still maintaining a presence on the Retail Lending font, In this role I also helped customers with more complex needs achieve their business goals by providing products and solutions that helped them expand and flourishI also organised the branch social club and footy tipping- Consulted on proposed changes to the BOQ Lending Policy regarding the verification of taxation status in July 2021- Assisted with the creation of a new Joint Account Privacy Procedure in June 2021 to fill a gap regarding the provision of personal information to joint account holders- Collaborated with the Home Buying Transformation Team in May 2021 to help develop a standardised process to assist lenders following the passing of one of their customers

As Compliance Manger at 455 Bourke St, I had a multi-faceted role that oversaw the operations of the branch as a whole. Specific focuses were on regulatory compliance, the customer experience and HR. Retail lending gave me the opportunity to help Australians achieve their home buying dreams as well as to take advantage of investment opportunities.- Joined the Bank Guarantee Remediation team on a five-month secondment in 2020, learning new skills and collaborating with different bank departments.
