As a Recruitment Specialist for Aardvark Swift, I worked closely with a variety of clients. Anywhere from small companies with a team of 4 to AAA Studios with thousands of staff. My duties included working with clients to maintain a recruitment budget while providing excellent service through resourcing the best talent. Providing detailed market feedback and helping to consult on how to attract the right candidates.Alongside this, part of my role is candidate facing. Working hard to ensure the candidate has the best chance to land their dream job!

As part of the Grads in the Games team, I toured the country visiting over 20 universities giving career talks on how to get into the games industry. I was responsible for delivering the programming section of the talk advising students on how to build there portfolio and CV. As well as this we promoted our Search for a Star and Rising Star solutions that help students get their work in front of over 100 major studios.

After just over a year in the course co-ordinator role at Premier Partnership, I was offered to move into the newly formed on-boarding team, to help develop and work a new process for our onboarding of new suppliers and associates. My responsibilities were to contact new trainers who have been identified by the resource team and client relationship managers and to help them through the process to complete onboarding with Premier Partnership. With over 800 suppliers and associates, we worked hard to ensure the new process worked efficiently to allow a quick turn around on documents.I worked closely with multiple departments throughout the company such as the Course Co-ordination and resourcing. I often met with the resourcing and quality manager resolving any document queries or issues.Using my personal skills and knowledge of the business I could utilise the relationships I had formed from the Course Co-ordination department to help me while developing my skills in process development and document management.

My Role as Course Co-ordinator helped me to understand the intricacy of client management and the importance of organisation. I had the responsibility of fulfilling 250+ courses per month for a broad spectrum of clients. I was able to have a clear view of the inner workings of multiple departments and how they work together. I was also able to transfer my customer service skills into this role while improving my social and organizational skills.

My time at Capita allowed me to constantly learn, I was able to pick up and implement major skills in customer service and dealing with high tension situations through mentoring by managers and training. I worked mainly as Customer Service Representative on the phone but I also was given opportunists in assisting with new system rollouts.I also took part in mentoring while at Capita helping new starters during there training.
