My work centers around developing strategies and supporting conservationists to protect highly threatened and endangered species. I lead the conservation team at the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN), where I helped create the Lion Recovery Fund, Pangolin Crisis Fund, and other Wildlife Funds. I'm crazy for pangolins, and in 2007 I co-founded Save Pangolins to help the world's most illegally trafficked wild mammal. I believe we need more leaders in the environmental field if we are going to succeed, so I serve on the boards of the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders program and Kinship Conservation Fellows. I got my degrees at the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources & Environment and the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. I live in San Francisco.
