I am a Partner with Campbells, Hong Kong in the Banking and Structured Finance team. I have more than 15 years’ experience in the Asia-Pacific region advising on all forms of debt finance, structured finance and capital market transactions from an offshore perspective. I have lived and worked in Hong Kong for over 10 years and understand the workings of the market and the need for responsive counsel. I regularly represent lenders and borrowers on a wide range of cross-border secured debt transactions including private capital lending, leveraged finance, margin lending, acquisition finance, take-private transactions, real estate finance and syndicated lending. I have specialised structured finance experience and frequently advise issuers, subscribers and arrangers on the establishment of standalone and multi- issuance repackaging note programmes and securitisation vehicles. I act for leading investment banks and private-equity firms on a range of OTC derivative trades including collars, covered call options, call spread options and other structured products. I have significant experience on debt capital market issuances including private placements, medium-term note programmes, high yield bond issuances, corporate bond and hybrid securities issuances, including convertible and exchangeable bonds.I typically advise leading onshore law firms, banks, regulated financial institutions, investment funds, listed companies and private corporations on a broad range of debt related transactions and structured products.
