Accountable for building and leading the Engineering department. This includes System Engineering, Project Management and Proto Production, a team consisting of 55 colleagues. It is my responsibility to ensure that the development of new systems and tooling is realized through excellence. Doing so by execution of cross functional teams, with regards to Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs, as part of lifecycle product management.As part of the leadership team, my tasks and responsibilities also include presenting the course of the strategy, using my influencing skills, plans, budget and resources of the department, to the CEO.This is accomplished by understanding, interpreting and analyzing complex sets of technical, operational and financial data. In maintaining the Technology Roadmap based on day to day influences, Additive Manufacturing/3D-printing is one of the technologies I explore as a future production method within KMWE.Recruit, hire, develop and mentor exceptional talent at leadership level (talent pool), to prepare them for future managing positions. Managing resources, with our Joint Venture IDEAS in India and partners in the Eindhoven area, to maintain maximum capacity flexibility.

Accountable for managing multiple projects of Engineering, transfers and Build to Print, over varying schedules, serving a wide variety of customers. Provide structure, stability and predictability with a strong ability to plan prioritize and manage complex projects under strict project timelines. Managing the financial performance of the projects against agreed budgets and aspects like Quality, Logistics and Technology. Maintaining customer project relations (ao. ASML, Philips Healthcare, IMS, SÜSS, Satisloh), including regular project meetings and management meetings (steerco). Provide input and manage key stakeholders, win trust, having challenging and tough discussions and show leadership. Effective risk management: risk identification followed by a mitigation strategy, with clear action and decision logs.
