With over 38 years in healthcare, 20 of which include system implementation, process design, and project management, I am a well-rounded resource with proven success in remediating troubled projects. My background working in organizations across the nation and internationally provides me with a broad spectrum of experience to draw from when formulating logical approaches to problem identification and resolution. I am proficient in a broad range of processes and systems including Electronic Medical Record and Enterprise Resource Planning. Projects I have managed and participated in include non-labor cost reduction, contract management, GPO assessment and selection, process redesign for clinical and business systems, system selections, system implementations, and operational improvement. I am an experienced and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and have established project management standards to oversee implementations from small organizations to multi-hospital systems. Internally I have led the development of a Project Management System of Excellence, helped guide the development of Project Management Methodology, and taught PwC's Transform methodology to consultants across the nation covering the full project life cycle from assessment to operate and review.
