Paul Wallis is the Co-founder and CTO of Obashi. After graduating from the University of Liverpool in Computer Science, Paul worked at British Petroleum’s Grangemouth oil refinery and chemical plants before co-authoring the Obashi methodology. He is an advisor to the Financial Stability Board (FSB). Paul is a also a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) and a Fellow of the Institution of Analysts and Programmers (FIAP).Paul’s future academic and commercial research projects will use Digital Dynamics and The OBASHI Methodology to utilise contextual n-dimensional models for creating dynamic highly resilient designs for SDN, NFV, Software Defined Data Centres, and Ecosystems of Distributed Micro-services, IoT & Infrastructure.In 2010, APMG International, a leading accreditation and examination institute, accredited the Obashi Methodology. In the same year, The Stationary Office published ‘The Obashi Methodology’ manual.In 2016 the United Nations University For Peace began to offer Obashi as part of the new MSc course in Global Financial Data Management.In 2018 Obashi opened an Obashi Lab within the University of Glasgow to develop the next generation of computer science and business talent.In August 2019, Obashi will be taught within HNC/D level qualifications across colleges in Scotland.
